Staff Protection Training in alliance with Southern Area Fire Equipment

We provide training services to you and your organisation to meet legislative requirements under Health and Safety, Fire and Emergency New Zealand Act and Fire and Emergency New Zealand (Fire Safety, Evacuation Procedures, and Evacuation Schemes) Regulations 2018.

Our courses are run in the workplace to offer as little inconvenience to you and your staff and can accommodate weekend training delivery as well.
All courses taught are electronically certified for staff for C.V’s etc

My qualifications are:
Diploma in Fire Rescue Services
Graduate Diploma in Tertiary Learning and Teaching Level 7
Level 4 National Certificate in Health and Safety in the Workplace

Emergency Warden

Option 1:

(Fire Warden and includes caring for people i.e. rest homes)

This includes theory training session and certifications valid for two years, complying with legislation.
This gives compliance for health and safety in the workplace (Worksafe 2015), Fire and Emergency NZ Act 2017 and Fire and Emergency New Zealand (Fire Safety, Evacuation Procedures, and Evacuation Schemes) Regulations 2018.
Course duration approximately 3 hours.

Extinguisher Training

Option 2:

This includes theory and practical training session with provided fire extinguishers and electronic certification valid for two years.
This course complies with legislation for Health and safety in the Workplace (Worksafe 2015),
Fire and Emergency Act 2017 and Fire and Emergency New Zealand (Fire Safety, Evacuation Procedures, and Evacuation Schemes) Regulations 2018, requiring buildings with handheld fire-fighting equipment to be trained to use it.

Course duration approximately 2 hours (Numbers attending dictates time).
Pre-course workbook to be completed prior to attending the course.

Emergency Wardens and Extinguisher Training combined

Option 3:

(The price is slightly cheaper in a combined course than individual courses)

This includes the above from the individual wardens and extinguisher courses.
Course duration would be approximately 4 hours with an extinguisher pre-course requirement to be completed prior to the course.
